Shortlist Veo 3.1, Kling 4.0 and Seedance 2.5 by the control a commercial requires. Compare sound and picture together when the shot needs dialogue; compare references and planned moments when it needs precise action. Keep exact products and final typography under separate approval. Confirm the delivery platform before committing, because model capability and API availability can change independently.

In our Scanye KSeF-Pong film, Seedance 2.0 carried the high-energy action, while Kling 2.0 handled the slower, more composed beats.
What the public documentation establishes
This guide compares vendor documentation, not side-by-side AI25 outputs. It does not establish which model produces the best advert or the lowest cost per approved shot.
Version | Documented capability relevant to a brief | Production question |
Veo 3.1 | Generated audio; reference images; first/last-frame guidance | Can the required action and sound pass review together? |
Kling 4.0 | Up to 30 seconds; multiple keyframes | Do planned moments remain coherent through the sequence? |
Seedance 2.5 | Up to 30 seconds; targeted editing | Can a revision preserve the accepted parts of the shot? |
See Google’s Veo documentation, Kuaishou’s Kling release and ByteDance’s Seedance release. The evaluation questions are recommendations, not measured results.
Resolve access before assigning a model
Google shut down its Veo 3.1 Preview Gemini API endpoints on 22 October 2026. On Google Cloud, Veo 3.1 GA lists retirement on 17 November 2026 or later; Google points Gemini API users to Gemini Omni Flash (Google Cloud Veo 3.1 documentation). Verify the chosen product; this is not a claim that all Veo services closed. Google API notice.
Apply the same account-level check to Kling and Seedance. Confirm the required controls, export options and permitted use in the chosen service. Keep that decision in the production record so an unavailable feature does not become a late dependency.
Divide the commercial into different problems
A single advert can contain an atmospheric opening, a product demonstration, dialogue and an end card. These need different acceptance tests. The opening must establish the approved look. The demonstration must show the product correctly. The end card must reproduce the approved artwork.
Choose a representative difficult shot before making the full sequence. Test with the product assets and movement the campaign needs, then review the actual clip with sound. Mark defects by timecode and distinguish a correction from a change in the brief.
Protect the parts the brand cannot compromise
When a label, mechanism or recognisable person must remain exact, assess photographed assets, live footage or 3D alongside generation. Compositing can combine those controlled elements with another background. The model is one part of the shot design.
For Polish and European campaign versions, assign a reviewer for each language and market-specific claim. Check pronunciation, on-screen wording, cropping and the final export. Do not infer support for a particular language from a general multilingual claim.
Compare the full delivery effort
Include selection, repairs, edit, colour, sound and versioning when comparing production routes. A cheap generation that requires extensive rebuilding may be a poor fit; that is a question to measure on the brief, not a universal cost claim.

Quick answers
Process, timelines, pricing & deliverables.
Which model should make the entire commercial?
There is no requirement to use one model throughout. Choose a consistent visual direction, then select methods that meet each shot's acceptance criteria.
Does native audio remove the need for sound post-production?
No. Dialogue, music, effects, mix and final delivery requirements still need review. Keep a replacement or editing route for sound that does not pass.
How should a producer confirm Veo access?
Check the exact application or endpoint in Google's current documentation, then verify account access before scheduling work. Do not rely on an old tutorial.
Can these models guarantee exact product details?
This comparison establishes no such guarantee. Test the required details and use controlled source assets where the campaign needs them.
